01288 seems to be from Bude in Cornwall. Not sure about this one, but it is very unlikely that any approved contact would ring us from there.
No idea who this was as I ignored it. When I tried to call back I got a message this was an incorrect number. Almost certainly a spammer then.
scam alert!!!! will offer upgrade on EE phone no new contract blah blah, you'll get a new phone and a contract set up in your name. Gullible persons will send the new phone to a wrong address and EE will chase you for the handset! This is how the scam works. Report and block
