male with a strong Indian accent saying when they search for our sector in Google we come up on the 7th page - which is completely untrue as we not only come up as the first, but also run ads to appear at the top too. When I asked if they were definitely referring to Google as we re the largest and most popular in this area, he hung up.
I misses this call as my phone was off but a quick Internet search told me this was an Indian scam call centre pretending to be in London, with an outside London area code. This number can be purchased for roughly ?3. Do not answer it is a scam.

I was called from this number allegedly 'Virgin media' did not trust the caller so dialed it back to find out it was a residential number whose number had been scammed. On calling Virgin and my bank fortunately they never got anything. Just hang up and block number.

Had a call at 12 noon, foreign voice asked for me by name, would not tell me who was calling. He said he needed a few details. Before he could say anymore I asked where he got my phone number from. He wouldn't answer. I told him my number was registered with TPS and was ex-directory so where did he get the number. He hung up!! So fed up with these calls. Everyday we. Get at least one. I have ended up blocking this number I felt like they were harassing me I had at least 8 calls a week from them just asking if I used prepay gas and electric metres as they can try beating the price but im not interested but they still continued to call

Received a call from this number regarding compensation for an accident I had last year. When I told the caller I wasn t interested, he said "well, you re just going to keep getting calls then!" I said, "Well, you can do, but you d be an idiot as i just won t answer" and he said "and you re a slag!". I replied "I don t think that s very professional!" and he put the phone down on me.
