I was called by this number and an automated voice told me that I was being prosecuted for tax evasion by the police and asked me to press 1. Then a man with an Indian accent spoke to me asking for my postcode and address. I foolishly gave it to him after which he hung up -this must be some sort of scam or attempted fraud

Get constant calls from various numbers asking for "the business owner", unfortunately our number was used by a business about 10 years ago and occasionally appears in searches however that business closed down so they are obviously using old lists, but despite repeated attempts to get them to stop calling us and telling them there is no business at this address and they are ignoring our requests. Always an Asian, usually male, voice.

Claimed to be the NAS (national advice service) asked if I had worked in an industrial enviroment, said no the girl on the end of the phone said "oh ok and hung up" total cold calling spammers. SCAM This number is the same as mine for the first seven numbers but then the last three keep changing. I have been called numerous times by these people, always changing the last three digits. It is totally a scam, telling me i will be arrested if i don’t press 1, a warrant will be issued blah blah blah.
Persistent offender of harassment calls. Uncle Buck Finance LLC. They disguise their caller id using literally dozens of different numbers, all of which transfer to collections. It means you cannot easily use a call blocker to filter out these calls. But keep adding their numbers to your blocker, does help. When challenged to identify themselves, they state they are calling from UB. Ask for the full company name and corporation number, ICO number and FCA registration number for identification purposes.
