01455 236000 has been pestering me with silent calls on both my landline and mobile. We believe that the caller might be from the Hinckey area and despite trying to block it on my mobile we have received umpteen calls from a "private number" How can we stop them from pestering us?

He claimed to be from Halifax bank and said that the bank needed me to discuss serious matters concerning my account... It s an unknown number that keeps calling but when you press 5 you get through to someone identifying themselves as being from The Money Team. This time the guy was George. I told him what he was doing was illegal..he just laughed and hung up. Now my question is this... Money Team has been doing this for a long time, and have been reported numerous times. When are the enforcement agencies actually going to do something meaningful about it?

SCAM Cold caller, pretending to be working on behalf of Microsoft advising me that I am being targeted by hackers. Goes through a spiel involving talking me through looking at the 'event viewer' utility on my PC and asking me to note the number 'Administrative events' with warnings listed in the viewer. This he advisies means that I am under attack - (BTW it does not). The tries to talk me into downloading 'anydesk' - I did not because it would allow access to my PC.

Something about being charged £79.99, and pressing 1 to speak to a service manager. We don't have Amazon Prime. We are ex directory, and with TPS.
