This is a genuine Santander Fraud Department number. However I suggest you always call your bank using the number on the back of your Debit/Credit Card to check. This what I did and it was confirmed my Debit Card was being used by criminals, so needed cancelling and replacing.

Claimed to be from "British Technical Department" and there was a problem with my internet. Hung up when I asked if his company was a division of Openreach. I only answered because it appeared to be a local call for me.

I didn't answer this call, but they did call both my landline and mobile without leaving a message.
Just had a call from 01952 241140 - when I answered they took a few seconds to respond, suggesting a call centre. Claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted me to confirm I was the owner of this computer (I was on the phone not the computer but hey...) I confirmed it and then he asked the same question again but used my name. I confirmed it again and he hung up! Not sure what it was about but very wary.

SCAM Saying they are calling from sky about my slow broadband speed, considering I'm not with sky i decided to keep them talking until I got bored the told the to f$%€ off, they called back a few hours later with the same crap, and continuously kept ringing until i picked up the phone, I.told them in my best Indian accent to f%%% off bloody b@$%/÷$ and I will kill them... not heard back yet

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive. Seems to be a scam reporting to be from revenue and customs advising that a claim has been made. You are then required to press a number to get through to an officer. You will more than likely be charged. Be aware!
