I first got the calls in early May when i guess they were just checking whether the random digit diallings were live numbers and saving them into a list. Now they are selling the list or carrying out surveys themselves. This needs to stop. I know people who work in call centres doing this type of thing. It s a slimey business.

There is a silence, on answering, then the sounds of a noisy, call-centre type of room and a male voice, possibly Indian, greets me as if we know each other. What follows is some bilge about trading in crypto currencies, in which I have never expressed any interest. I block, they call from somewhere else. It is boring.
