FRAUD. Robocall claiming it is Social Security Administration and that your social security number has been suspended due to fraudulent activity, that all benefits will be cut off. If you press '1' to get to one of the agents it is always an indian. I always press 1 to read them the riot act concerning fraud and robocallers contacting those on national do not call registry.

Many calls during the day. Some unanswered. When I did get to speak to someone, they asked for Mr John living at a completely different address. I told them it wasn t me and they hung up immediately. On subsequent calls, I kep asking them to stop as I am not mr John. They just hang up. I m on TPS and ex-directory.

Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. This unknown number has been calling me for days before I got the chance to finally answer. I didn t understand the man s name nor from which company he was calling, but he said something to the effect that I d get a refund for the bank charges I allegedly paid over the past few years. He then asked me about some personal information that he needed for the transaction. Seems like a scam - I wouldn t answer and just hung up.
