A 15 seconds call to my home number at 1300 hrs today; may have been a child but not certain what was said before phone was cut off/put down by caller. Used 1471 to obtain number and found it was from 0203 634 9843

My phone indicated it was an international call from Merthyr Tydfil so i ignored it and it went to answer machine no message left
This number is used for telemarketing purposes, mostly reported as Better Business Group or Injury Claim Lawyers, insurance marketing or similar - in fact just some call centre, the number is very likely VoIP number, sometimes people rated it as an oversea

Received automated voice message at 11:18 saying that there was a text message from 00000000000 (give or take a 0) and to press 1 to hear the message. I was suspicious and did nothing. Reading other messages here I believe that I have made the correct choice.

Getting calls from this number and another from Sheffield 01143493955. Blocked them but still call about six seven times a day. Call when I m in work so just answer and put phone in my pocket as work in noisy warehouse. Usually hang up quite quickly.

Complete lies the company was busy we didnt advertise last year. When we asked for paperwork/proof he said he will provide after we have paid. He "generously" managed to half the debt to £1,750. My husband had this message last night and thought I hadn't been paying the mortgage so a fraught 10 minutes which nearly ended in a row!!! I called the number from a landline and got no response so googled the problem on line and came up with these responses. So very worrying as I knew nothing was amiss.
