Called re accident that I may have had. Waste of time would not take no for an answer

My husband had this message last night and thought I hadn't been paying the mortgage so a fraught 10 minutes which nearly ended in a row!!! I called the number from a landline and got no response so googled the problem on line and came up with these responses. So very worrying as I knew nothing was amiss. It came up as a +44 7093091089 number. Disgusting!

called and said router was having problems and would offer £200 as compensation. then when did the bank transfer they made a 'mistake' and transferred £2,000. as a gesture of goodwill they would only ask for £700 back. this was transferred by Moneygram (I know - caught my partner when unwell and not thinking straight). also took over my laptop and remotely accessed who knows what. SCAM. Talktalk will never call you. don't tell the scammers anything. Police and Talktalk aware.

Frankie called, with an Indian accent, with a telephone and broadband offer too good to be true. Didn't ask if I was interested before taking details. He knew too much about me already before asking for my DOB. Cut me off when told I wasn't divulging any more info.

Called me saying they were O2, that they can give me 30% off my monthly bills... Proves how much they know - told him I don't have monthly bills and hung up

SCAM SCAM SCAM THEY RING FROM INDIA ON A LOCAL TEL NO, SAYING THEY ARE FROM AMAZON AND RINGING TO LET ME KNOW THAT OUR SUBSCRIPTION IS DUE FOR £79.99 AND WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF OUR BANK ACC FOR A YEARLY PAYMENT, BUT WE PAY MONTHLY SO WHEN I SAID WE PAY BY DIRECT DEBT THEN IT WENT QUIET AND THEN ASKED IF YOU WANT TO CANCEL, AND GET A REFUND,THATS WHEN ALARM BELLS STARTED RING. SHE TOLD ME TO LOG ONTO A WEBSITE AND ENTER A CODE THAT SHE HAD, WHEN I ASKED "WHY IS THIS NOT AN AMAZON ADDRESS",

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with Wonga - loans, debts, check them at https://www.wonga.com/

This number called, stated my number had been verified and rang up?? tried calling it back on landline stated same thing. Sick of scam callers
