BEWARE, these are paid scammers trying to get you to give them your bank details, avoid this number completely. Don't ring them back to see who it was, they have a recorded message and they'll store your telephone number and ring you relentlessly thereafter.
SCAM - left an automated voicemail saying they're investigating criminal activity in regards to recent financial transactions and said 'press 1 for more information and legal charges', which is clearly not possible on a voicemail. Definitely scamming people.
Obvious call centre noise background noise as soon as I answered, with a delay before anyone responded. The caller had an extremely strong Asian/Indian accent and told me his name was Paul Simon (yeah, right!) calling from Norfolk County Council about a recent accident I d had. Automat Had a call from this number today. It was automated, and stated that a warrant has been issued for my arrest for tax evation. Had to laugh, as I don't pay tax as I am retired. For anyone who believes these calls, it can be very worrying.

These calls are coming from prankdial uk. I went in their website and theres an option to block your number from further prank calls. For the people saying the guy was swearing he wasnt . Just saying it s bad enough without saying things were said which wernt you can listen to the pranks on their website before you send the prank. Whoever did this to me and others can listen to the reaction when they call you.
