They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Got quite upset when I refused to give them the code

The call from this number : Once receiver lifted up a recorded female voice , after a pause, said there was no-one available but if I left my number they would get back to me. This has happened a few times but I dont respond in any way...just put phone down.

An automated female voice that purported to be calling from Amazon telling me that a certain amount of money would be taken by them from my bank account and if I wished to stop this then I needed to press a number on my keypad.

SCAM - Claiming to be calling on behalf of EDF Energy, total gas and British gas to update records. I called EDF, they confirmed this is not their number. This is someone lying in order to try and get business away from your energy providers and therefore any information you give them could be used fraudulently!

I get calls from this number every day on my mobile, sometimes twice or three times a day. I never give this number to anyone except close friends! Fraud Telephoned 04/12/20. I gave no name when answering and they did not ask who I was. Young lady immediately started with "I understand that you have been in an accident which was not your fault". I have not had an accident and any reputable company would have identified who they were dealing with as a priority. Shut her down immediately and barred number.

This number IS Fowlers Car Finance calling from their Stoke on Trent office. I made an application with them last year, then cancelled due to receiving very adverse comments and warnings about dealing with them regarding any finance deals. I recieve calls weekly still having called them to stop and e-mailed.
