I have some products from nationwide. got a text claiming to be from Nationwide saying they need to speak to me and to call on this number- about my account. The products I have wouldnt involve them speaking to me. Proper scam! DO NOT RING BACK. Very clever as it come sup as if its actually from Nationwide even my phone put the text under the same sender as the legit Nationwide.

SCAM Asian man claiming to be from "Networking Department at Openreach". Didn't say what he was calling about so I hung up because (a) Openreach don't contact the public direct out of the blue but would do so through the relevant ISP and (b) my internet comes via the independent KCOM network in Hull which has nothing to do with Openreach.
Whasapped me not even in my contacts list, nuisance caller now blocked.

THIS IS A SCAM CALLER. Says he is from BT Openreach but the phone number is Horizon Blinds in Elgin. When I questioned him he used the word federal whicj of course is not used in the UK. Beware of people phoming from this number. I told him he should be ashamed of himself and hung up.

Said they were the Energy Advice Centre, offering to come and review my loft insulation for free and may be able to fix issues as part of government scheme (may be The Great British Insulation Scheme, which is a legitimate scheme). Looked like a London number so picked up as thought it was a work call. The caller, who insisted on calling me "luvvie", told me it was about the life policy on my house??!! Told her I wasn t interested, but have received another call this morning (ignored).
