Just took call from 'Lauren Mason' - 0207 946 1943 to my mobile. She asked about my 'accident' in the last 2/3 years. This time, I said 'wow, how did you know that?!' She said that the 'RTA Information database' had passed the info about my accident & could I confirm the date? Just received call from this number about a hull football club working with the city council and the kc stadium. told them i wasn't interested and he wanted to know the far end of a whatsit as to why. i said because its working locally and with the council and we don't need to advertise ourselves just locally then denies he said it had anything to do with the council. so i said again we aren't interested do u want me to charge you for me answering this call so he laughed. Everyone can relax. I just called the PO Helpline and a very helpful, patient and pleasant lady told me that this *is* a legitimate POTelephones offer. They are offering a bill reduction for long-term customers, a sort of loyalty bonus. I got the number of their helpdesk off of my latest bill, so *that* is almost certainly legitimate. I hope this reassures some people. J.
