I called Barclays on 03457 345 345 only to be told this numbers has switched to 0345 600 45 40. I called this number and followed the exact same instructions that you would normally be asked only something didn't feel quite right about it. I called back the 03457 345 345 number which worked this this time and spoke to a gentleman on the Fraud team who advised me this was not one of their numbers and this was most definitely a fraud attempt. I have now had my card cancelled and had to change my security ques

Just received a call from a young man on this number with a Liverpudlian accent. He asked for me by name and asked if I'd been on an all expenses holiday recently. I asked him how he got my number, or his company name or his own name to which he got upset and told me he couldn't tell me any of that. Scammer.

We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. Very bubbly sounding lady called Leslie, on a terrible line, called from this number. Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn't my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn't had an accident, she hung up on me.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 3334439xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident claims, insurance management, PPI and pensions - just another call centre. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
