Text message claiming to be Royal Mail telling me I had an unpaid shipping fee of £2.99. If not paid, pacel will be returned to sender. Not expecting anything to arrive, looks like they've set up a pretty legimitate looking royal mail data collection website which could be used against you.
Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation. That when I realised it was a scam and they needed my account details which they did not get.

I have no idea who they are or what they want but i receive 2 calls a day everyday saying we need to speak with you have blocked several numbers for them now 1 message left said this is a debt relating to my water in northumberland and i have never lived in northumberland and another vm today said its relating to an outstanding parking ticket sounds like a scam will be blocking every call from them and they should be reported to the financial ombudsman
This company is one of the most helpful financial solutions companies i have ever spoken to. I have been reccommedmbed to them by several people for an iva and they have saved my life. This is a market research company called GSKNOP. I had daily hang up calls from them then eventually spoke to a human who wanted to do a 20 min financial questionnaire but gave me the Market Research Society phone number so I said if they didn t take my name/number off their data base that I d report them to the MRS. I haven t heard from them since.

SCAM - recorded call allegedly from BT internet services cutting off landline and internet because of suspicious activity on our network. The only suspicious activity is from these morons.
Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.
