As everybody else said, an indian man called with lots of background noise claiming to be from Talktalk. He said there was a problem with the internet running slowly. Had I noticed this? I realised it was a scam and thought I d play along for a little. He asked if I had a PC or laptop so I lied and told him that I only had a tablet. That seemed to throw him a bit so he kept asking whether I had a desktop. I told him I had a laptop but not with me at the moment so he said he d call back and wanted to know wh

SCAM. Another call from what seems to be a call centre in Manchester. Soon as you answer the call is cut off. Probably to see if line is still active. In the last month I have had 20 calls from the same area but different numbers. I've logged this as a scam because if itwas genuine the caller would have answered or left a message. It was some buffoon pretending to be Carphone Warehouse.
ACTIVE MART website seem to have build a fraudulent site around Atlantic Electronics Limited (a real trading company) and are using their London address to sell goods via a separate website. Active Mart state they are part of A&M Electronics Limited, also at the same London address. ACTIVE MART seem to be a SCAM website company - DO NOT BUY from them or give them your credit card details, when payment fails to go through they ask you to do a BACS Transfer of money to them - be aware!!!
