I had the same text too to be evicted at 8:30am I laughed at the message straight away but really do feel for the elderly if they received this. Not very nice at all

Text Message SCAM Banking I received a message claiming to be from santander and asking to authorise a payment and to reply with Y or N.

Keeps calling my wife to give debt advice not sure what debts they think they are, calls late evening.

This number called today and I didn t have time to Google it before answering. Said they were from American Express, only asked for half my postcode and they knew the type of card I held and how long I have had it. He was trying to sell an identity/credit rating protection (Platinum protect plus I believe). He was polite, when I said I wasn t interested he was pleasant. Received a call today on my landline. Caller was brusk, impolite and there was lityle or no preamble. Asked me questions about aims and values of Labour Party, why I became a member and reg d voter. Clearly knew that I was one. Asked if I d received ballot. I said I had and had voted. Didn t say for who. Asked if I had voted Lab at last GE or someone else.
