I had a call today from an Asian male claiming to be from the Government Dep. of Income & Justice. (There is no such thing!)Said £ 4000 of overpaid bank charges had been recovered for me and did I want to know how to get hold of it. Just took call from 'Lauren Mason' - 0207 946 1943 to my mobile. She asked about my 'accident' in the last 2/3 years. This time, I said 'wow, how did you know that?!' She said that the 'RTA Information database' had passed the info about my accident & could I confirm the date? I said that the mobile line was being flaky & asked for her name & the company name again - she said her 'name' and the 'name' of the company - Pearl Health Professionals. you receive a text from these people and you text back to say stop as they requested and then you get text messages every week and they charge you 4.50 for the privilege I phoned 02033181627 to an auto service to unsubscribe and we will see what happens I will also report this to EE as they have taken money which we had not authorised as it is a work mobile.
