Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. Fraud Alleges to have a PPI payment ready to give you; I was offered £3861.?? to be repaid. A lady with a heavy sub-continent voice called Patricia alleges she is from the non-existent National Repayment Department. She asks for personal details, before asking for your bank details. This is a market research company called GSKNOP. I had daily hang up calls from them then eventually spoke to a human who wanted to do a 20 min financial questionnaire but gave me the Market Research Society phone number so I said if they didn t take my name/number off their data base that I d report them to the MRS. I haven t heard from them since.
SPAM Indian lady saying she call from Amazon Prime and telling me that someone placed and order for a subscription with a value of £79.99 and she can cancel the order if I give her the features of the device I use to access my Amazon account. As soon I asked her for a proof of this call, she hang up.

This company provides product protection/accidental damage insurance for items bought from Currys/PC World. I found the number on my credit card statement after buying a new TV. If you didn t ask for insurance then get it cancelled.
