When i try to find out who it is, then i see that there is no particular information about the caller. So, UK you won't get a bite from me no matter how many times you call me. This company has called me every 3 hours for the last fortnight. I have told them that I do not want a quote for home insurance & have asked them to remove my number from their database. The calls however are continuing & will remain unanswered.
SCAM / SPAM Missed the call, so called them back a minute later. Got a recorded message congratulating me on installing the Asterisk open source pbx, which is some kind of VOIP service for LINUX. Don't think my regular BT landline will know how that works...

SCAM Fraud A computer voice informed me that HMRC was going to arrest me if I didn't press "1" to connect to them. Not sure what would have happened if I had followed the instructions, but this is a nasty fraud all the same.
Chap with asian accent, calling from advantage at 17.55 hrs, he wanted me to confirm my name then answer questions, but then said I was under no obligation to do so (clearly), I said I would not answer any questions and said he was to not bother me again and I hung up. if this occurs again, I will not be so polite.

Human voice saying pre-recorded statements about having got my number from the RTA department and was I in an accident recently. Asked her to clarify recently and it was 2-3 years which gave the game away. I m usually really careful with my number so I think it s an auto-dialer.

PPI company, number showed up as based in Macclesfield. Never needed to look into PPI so they had no reason to call me. Just a company who has no doubt bought a list of data to harass people.
