I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. SCAM This organisation is impersonating NCA (National Crime Agency). Scenario: Someone used my identity at the Wales border so they needed to check with me my personals details otherwise my NIN bank account etc will be freeze by them. Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. This is a scam number claiming to be from the HMRC. You get an automated message threatening legal action if you do not contact them. It is of course rubbish. Just block the number and ignore it.

Have had three of these calls within last 48 hours. The last call was from a female (Far east accent) who asked for a name that was similar to mine but incorrect, I told them I wasn t interested and she shouted down the phone wor before hanging up!!!
