Everyone can relax. I just called the PO Helpline and a very helpful, patient and pleasant lady told me that this *is* a legitimate POTelephones offer. They are offering a bill reduction for long-term customers, a sort of loyalty bonus. I got the number of their helpdesk off of my latest bill, so *that* is almost certainly legitimate. I hope this reassures some people. J.

I had a call today from an Asian male claiming to be from the Government Dep. of Income & Justice. (There is no such thing!)Said £ 4000 of overpaid bank charges had been recovered for me and did I want to know how to get hold of it. No, thanks - I requested his phone number and name of company and said I would contact the police. The number given was 020 34554098, so don t fall for this one!

Just took call from 'Lauren Mason' - 0207 946 1943 to my mobile. She asked about my 'accident' in the last 2/3 years. This time, I said 'wow, how did you know that?!' She said that the 'RTA Information database' had passed the info about my accident & could I confirm the date? I said that the mobile line was being flaky & asked for her name & the company name again - she said her 'name' and the 'name' of the company - Pearl Health Professionals.
