Recorded message saying that I could repay a debt at ?70 per week. Not sure where they got my number - as usual - but needless to say, I ended the call before I could expend precious energy shouting at them to take my number off their list.
Caller asks about whether you had finance and want to make a claim. Can't understand the English!

SCAM - they state your National Insurance (NI) number has been used in a fraud and if you don't press '1' your NI number will be stopped and you will be arrested....
I had this call this morning automated voice saying National Insurance fraud and will take action against you if you do not respond press 1 to continue. I am very cautious about these numbers and coming from a mobile number as well alarm bells rang

A very friendly guy called me saying he was from Greenpeace after I had signed a Greenpeace petition. He sounded very informative and believable and after a friendly chat he asked me to donate a small amount to Greenpaece. I said I would, and then he started asking me for my bank details so that he could set up a monthly direct debit for me to donate £10 per month. I said I woulld not give details over the phone but he still insisted that I could. I stopped at that point & put down the phone.
Left message on answerphone unable to understand the message.

These people are scammers my son googled paypal number and it went direct to these ,they then took all his card number and security code on the bank of which I know he shouldn't have given. Called them back and they were so offensive please beware all details for his account luckily have changed

20 Nov 2021 - Have had a number of calls from 0121 811 0192 and 0121 811 8205. Gentleman with strong Indian accent. I asked to be removed from his mailing list and never be contacted again. He became aggressive and said if I answered his questions he wouldn’t call again. I told him I wasn’t interested and he kept shouting listen listen and then put phone down. I called the number and it gave an email address for a company called Morningview. I received a call today from 0204 575 0194 similar incident

Obvious fraud. They claim to be from o2, wanting to save you money. They actually use o2s own "forgotten password" link do send you a message directly from o2, with a code that they can use to access your account. DO NOT GIVE THEM THIS CODE!

SCAM / SPAM I started receiving these scam calls after purchasing an online order at O2
"Technical fault with your BT hub. Please go to your computer so I can fix it for you". Said I was unable to do so at present. He asked "Are you disabled",replied "what a thing to ask"! said "I m in a meeting, not free at the moment" "What meeting". With that I got fed up with playing along and rang off.
HMRC scam, if i do not press one i will be arrested.
