This unrecognised number called me yet again! Initially, I did not answer but then fearing it might be Check & Trace I tried to ring it back. It just cuts off so clearly either spam, scammers or phishing. DO NOT ANSWER. I've now BLOCKED it.

Scam. I use to work for vodafone, and the first thing i asked after he started talking was " who is your line manager?" "And what system am i on". He freaked out and try come back but not a chance. As for the question providing you managers name should be a problem, unless you are a scammer and it takes you 5-6 seconds to invent a name, secondly vodafone has 2 systems that are being used in the company and it s a very simple to answer this question for a vodafone person. Consider it DANGEROUS, if you answer, they know that your number is active, sell your number on, and you will be bombarded, they will log your times on answering and build a profile of you, and eventually you are bait.
