Computer-generated male voice with pre-recorded message advising that it was BT who were today going to disconnect my broadband connection unless I pressed 1 or 2 to speak with an advisor who would "fix up" my problem.
Keep receiving miss calls from this number. going to block it now.

Surely to goodness someone, somewhere, has got to put a stop to this. Who is paying for all these claims? Us, in our high insurance costs of course. It is pissing me off, big time. Stop phoning me - I was not hurt, but it is getting to the point where perhaps I should claim just to stop these calls. Two bleeding years I have been fending off these damned nuisance calls.

My husband has unfortunately been duped by this company - Clearview partnership. Started with hard sale on Carbon emmisions and he unfortunately has since gone on to invest large sums of money in gems and oil. Portfolio of investment was supposed to go to auction Dec 13. SCAM - claims to be from BT and looks like a genuine Bristol number but it's not in use.
Caller claimed she was from BT and that other people were using my internet line. She wanted me to test something using my computer. She knew one of my email addresses, but not the one provided by BT. She gave daft or evasive answers to my questions. This appears to be a scam with the aim of getting me to provide personal details or perhaps remote access to my computer.

Called with a thick asian accent claiming to be Janet from Virgin and calling about an issue with the router. They asked me to tell them the colour on the router and then input a web address. I guessed immediately that this was a scam but decided to lead them on a little. After a couple of minutes 'Janet' realised that I knew this was a scam and launched into a tirade of verbal abuse swearing and threatening to come and stab me before then hanging up!

Got a call and the guy said he was from MTN asking if I did a sim swap today. I said no! He said I would receive an OTP with this no 573343. He said I will get another message with a different pin, I must give it to him. I got it and it stated: Do not give this pin to anyone. When he called back, I said I cannot give this pin to you. Who are you? Then he was off the line. I tried to call the no and it was just dead. I blocked it.
