this company keeps calling my mobile asking to speak to a person living within my house. this person has never had or given out my mobile phone number.

This is a computer scam. I played along in order to waste their time and to get insight into their methods. There is a warm-up act and a main act to follow. Their first tactic is to say they will cut off your computer unless you cooperate. They take you to Event Viewer administrative events in order to show you a scary page with yellow warning triangles and red error messages. Then to another caller for their main strike. Someone called me on this number this morning twice while I was in a meeting. I called back and someone called Mark answered. I did not give my details but asked why he had called me and he put the telephone down. I rang back but it just rings and rings. Whenever I register with one of those sites I always am careful to tick, or untick, any boxes that instruct them NOT to contact me. Haven t received any emails so somebody is selling my details on, or they are just B4stards!

I am registered with TPS and would never consider buying from a company that refuses to respect that request for privacy. Apart from anything else, a lack of respect for the law in this one respect suggests they may be less than law abiding in others (e.g. building regulations!). Reports on other "nuisance call" sites confirm this firm is best avoided.

A lady rang me about a recent car accident, hung up as I was not the owner of the car when the accident happened, searched the number then blocked it...

I ve been pestered by this number several times a day whilst at work for an entire week. No messages were ever left. One time I answered but the person at the other end hung up.
