As it was a local number, I answered the call. Guy in an incoherent Asian accent introduced himself informing me about government grants for boiler replacements. As I couldn't make him out properly I asked if I could phone him back. He kept insisting he'd tell me all about his proposition, so I put the phone down. I tried to redial his number, but number inaccessible.

Rung and asked me if I was okay after my accident within the last year, when I stated I hadn't had one they said well since 2015/16 or 2017 and were persistent that I'd had an accident and wouldn't take no for an answer so I hung up on them.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1792917xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI claims (also reclaim money from holidays) / insurance marketing / energy schemes. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?
