Silent call, Missed call, SCAM, Fraud, SPAM, Call center. This number has called me daily for 3 days now, but when answered, no-one talks and within 5 seconds, they hang up. After searching online, others have suggested it's Domestic and General, which I do have cover with for appliances, therefore would expect them to talk. claims to be from amazon credit card i doubt it is as its automated and wants you too press 2 to talk to them about possible fraudulent activity on your credit card which deals with a shop and other involving transfer of money to another country, dont fall for it as they claim they blocked this activity as well just to get you to hand your details over

Safe number - Bastek Services Ltd from Luton
Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate. Very upsetting.

This number called my 90 year old mother posing as the fraud department from the Bank of Scotland. He said 2 lots of money had left her account and they were chasing this up. Thankfully she phoned the bank and it was confirmed that these transactions had not happened. It was a scam, I think to get her personal details, not any account numbers - perhaps identity theft. He phoned her again today apologising for not phoning back yesterday but my mum was very blunt with her replies and he hung up.

A male caller with a very strong Asian calling about home appliance insurance renewal. When questioned as to which appliances he was talking about, he mentioned appliances I do not have on Insurance cover.

Phoned me. Background noise suggested I was being called from an overseas call centre. Caller had an Asian accent. When I started to ask where her company was based she replied “ Manchester”. When I asked further questions she put the phone down on me. Suspicious.
