This is a scam number, and probably all numbers 023821464**. Asian sounding voice said he was from "Amazon Fraud Department" and that my account had been compromised (I don't have an Amazon account). Man with Indian accent asked for me by name, claiming to be calling in relation to DNS mail server problems. Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP. Clearly that wouldn t happen due to data protection so I asked for his company name and contact details so I could call them later. He said i could check them out

I received an automated call claiming to be from HMRC fraud and wanted me to go through a set of number keying. Obviously a scam when I checked the number in Google it came back to a bakers in Glasgow. it seems the callers are spoofing telephone numbers to use in the scam.
Always asks for Mr. Humphries or Humphrys, six years on every week, will not take a telling that nobody lives at this address by that name...........

Indian sounding guy calls allegedly from BT. Tells me to go to my computer as he can assist with the virus that has been sent this weekend. Told him I would call out BT engineer if I had an issue, he says no one will come out. I reply I beg to differ - he puts the phone down! Hm - genuine, I don t think so!
