I live in Australia and received a call from this UK number trying to sell web service. I could hardly understand him and was suspicious so hung up. I immediately researched the number and discovered that many people had been scammed on rental property off

SCAM Automated voice message saying I have been a victim of tax fraud and had to press 1 to connect the call through to HMRC otherwise the fraud would be registered in my name and I would be arrested soon!! Luckily I am not gullible but I'm sure this would trick a lot of less suspicious people.

Julie from Sigma called as apparently I had been in a car accident that was not my fault. 0207 041 3684 number! I hung up on them and blocked number.

This number called said they were from my bank but didn't say which bank and that £2000 had been taken from my bank account. They then asked for my bank details, I hung up.

Asian-sounding male calling from "Bank Security" informing me of suspected fraud on my account. Seemed unaware that my bank has no connection with Norway where the call seemed to have been placed from; also couldn't provide the account number he was calling about or even the Bank he was calling from.

Said they were from HMRC and wanted to give me a rebate, I asked for them to send me in writing as I didn't want to give them my bank details over the phone. They hung up pretty quickly when I said as much. Scarily they had my full name etc.

Just spend an hour on the call with them about HMRC fraud against my name. Fraudsters get more and more convincing... 'Legal adviser' transferred me to another number which was looked like a legitimate number of The Royal Courts Of Justice (02079477772). That was fun to talk to them. I even call them back asking for address, so I can come over to them (after lockdown ends) and deliver money in a suitcases. For some reason they hanged up...

Nuisance call - telemarketing annoying won't stop calling from Three mobile network. Persistant and insisting calls from them almost every day. Negatively rated number.
