I ve received a call on my mobile phone today from 0161 939 0236 telling me that I ve had a loan and I m entitled to a refund plus interest because I was mis sold the loan. In the first place neither my husband or myself have had a loan from our bank or on any credit card. The caller went on to name all the credit cards that I could own and from any bank (naming banks) that I may have had a card or loan from. Wanted to know if I had been involved in a car accident within last 2 years as she said they had been informed that I had, (I haven t). When I questioned why she was calling me she hung up.

A Google search indicates that the number, if genuine, belongs to a national chain of clinics called Spa Medica.
