A woman claiming to be calling about energy research and deals available to us. We've been called many times by such companies who usually want to send round 'an energy assessor' for cavity and loft insulation. When I asked if it was a cold call and that we were registered with TPS, she said not at all so that wouldn't apply to her call (blatantly untrue). She feigned innocence very well and hung up - no doubt we will be called by them again, that's this kind of company's MO.

Purported to be the Financial Justice Ombudsman sending me a pack so that I can claim for fraudulent bank charges. Told me something would be in the post to me within 3 working days. They didn't pause for breath but when I finally got the opportunity to say I didn't want them to send me anything but thank you for the call they just hung up. Rude.
