Genuine American Express call regarding a problem on my account. Usual security questions requested and were able to confirm I had emailed them. Not sure why other people have marked this number as SPAM, complete fools who make it harder for people to check numbers.

The caller had a strong indian accent, and informed that my internet had been compromised, possibly by overseas third parties. asked me to go through various tests ie logging onto my tesco account, and checking my bank statements. When i refused to do so, the caller got a little shirty, asking what was the basis for this?
