Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. SCAM Cold caller, pretending to be working on behalf of Microsoft advising me that I am being targeted by hackers. Goes through a spiel involving talking me through looking at the 'event viewer' utility on my PC and asking me to note the number 'Administrative events' with warnings listed in the viewer. This he advisies means that I am under attack - (BTW it does not). The tries to talk me into downloading 'anydesk' - I did not because it would allow access to my PC.

FRAUD. Robocall claiming it is Social Security Administration and that your social security number has been suspended due to fraudulent activity, that all benefits will be cut off. If you press '1' to get to one of the agents it is always an indian. I always press 1 to read them the riot act concerning fraud and robocallers contacting those on national do not call registry.

Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. I can assure everyone it is Vodafone, it s a Rotherham code number 01709 , that is where the company Webhelp is based. Webhelp have a various of campaigns there, Vodafone being one of the best. I know this myself because I work there.. we only ask questions to do with your current account because we need you to confirm it, meaning we already now it. Still don t believe me?.. Look the number up on the Vodafone website instead of some lame little blog.
