A woman with heavily accented English called me this morning from a number with our local dialling code saying the call was from BT and there were reports that we were having trouble with the internet. No problems at all and I said so. She asked me to try the internet, so I told her I couldn’t hear her very well. She cut the call. Funny that! I phoned the number and was told it wasn’t in service!!

After telling them I was already retired they apologised for contacting me informed me my number would be removed from my data base but they still call. I think it is appalling these people phone a mobile number. tried to get back to them to say I was going to report them but you just get an answering machine.

Called about my Van insurance, asked for my Date of Birth. I asked why did he need that? He said, to prove who you are and I said "And that s exactly why I am not giving it to you. I know who I am.
