Fraud Pretended to be from O2 about our bill. Wanted to send email and one time code. Clearly not from O2 or Manchester - unless the Manchester accent has changed recently

Would not tell me what they wanted, they said it was in regards to a debt but would not let me continue the call without giving them my full address which I refused obviously. Would not tell me the nature of the debt either.

Had a call from this muppet (+01195748396) on my mobile. Searched the number on this site but it does not register (the tellows webpage doesn t load) so I dropped the +0 and re-tried and this page does load. An educated guess is that this is some kind scam or another.

I was called this morning by a lady saying that she is from the pension office. She asked whether I had private pensions and whether it would be possible that somebody would see me face to face to go through my private pensions. I asked her to write me an email, however she said they would not work like this. By this time I thanked her and said good bye. Not serious at all! Scam Text Message ( not Apple) from “Hermes”! With web link Telling me to reschedule my delivery or it would be returned to sender. Fine - go ahead since I have no delivery coming!!
Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.
