Accidentally clicked their ad when trying to find Direct Line on the net. Realised half way through completing their form so closed the browser. 10 mins later phone call received. I hadn t even pressed submit!! Anyway, number blocked, won t be bothered by these chancers again.

Somebody asking for me by name about insuranace. Asked how they got my detail and they said it was open data. Odd, as the number is with TPS. Reported to ICO for what it is worth as they have no right to call.

SCAM Asian man claiming to be from "Networking Department at Openreach". Didn't say what he was calling about so I hung up because (a) Openreach don't contact the public direct out of the blue but would do so through the relevant ISP and (b) my internet comes via the independent KCOM network in Hull which has nothing to do with Openreach.

Female caller said I d had a bump 3 years ago according to their records which had come up on my insurance renewal. Load of rubbish - I ve not had an accident for over 20 years! This number just called. I do not answer the phone nowadays as I am feeling harassed by unwanted callers. If somebody leaves a message and I know who it is I know where I am. I get this number calling me at home and on my iPhone. I do not call back and there is no message. Caller asks for you by name then asks a survey related to money ppi. Few days later you will get loads of calls from other numbers all related to the questions you were asked on the first call.

Missed call on my mobile from 02074962240 came up as the call being made from Trafalgar Square in London, but as the phone being registered to Caledonian Forestry Services Ltd, based in Perthshire, Scotland. I live in Birmingham. Can't think why they would call me, if it genuinely belongs to that company. Very strange!
