A Manchester number, so thought is was someone I know. However it was an unpleasant person who identified themselves as being from a company called Motor Investigations. He wanted to talk about insurance. I asked him why he was calling and he was aggressive. I hung up. Definitely a scam of some sort.

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. I didn't answer but they left a voicemail. It was an electronic voice which gave a string of numbers followed by "do not disregard this message as the matter at hand is time sensitive" then silence.

I received an automated call claiming to be from HMRC fraud and wanted me to go through a set of number keying. Obviously a scam when I checked the number in Google it came back to a bakers in Glasgow. it seems the callers are spoofing telephone numbers to use in the scam.
