Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036346xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with direct marketing, insurance marketing, accident claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

SCAM said they were Microsoft and there was unusual activity on my computer via internet. Explained that I’d not had my computer on for many months! He stated that it does not matter as ‘they’ can still access. Stated that I would contact Microsoft directly, he gave me another number, I was rumbled when I said I would call back and he asked for me to repeat the number, I’d not written it down! Microsoft do not engage in unsolicited cold calls, and likely not using mobile number

A very elaborate scam. So Good that I wanted to check it for myself. The guy on the phone was very good and only when I asked for their manager and mentioned that no Microsoft branding is in place, that he put me on hold and never took me off. Karnig @ www

energy supplers

Spam/unsolicited call. Something about insulation and energy efficiency. I demanded to know if he was trying to sell me something, he finally admitted he was, then hung up when I requested his name and company name to report the Telephone Preference Service.

Asian lady, who I couldn't understand, claiming to be from the government department claims advisory group. Apparently they had a cheque to send me for overpaid bank charges. Told her to send it to me, but she wanted my DOB. When challenged that surely they knew this as they had my name and number and address etc, then they must already have my DOB, she said it was for verification, at which point I thanked her for the call (it included a few expletives) and hung up. Do not engage with them.

Automated recording pretending to be from Amazon saying "Your Amazon Prime subscription has been paid £79" it then asks if this was an error then to stay on the line to talk to an operator

SCAM / SPAM wanted to tell me that my Sky Breakdown cover was running out - ain't got Sky and certainly no breakdown cover, wished him a nice day and hung up

Automated dialler, pretends to be BT threatens to cut phone off unless etc. do not speak on pick up they then disconnect, genuine callers will speak first. Fraud wants your identity/personal information and bank details to apply for contracts for phones and other stuff in your name. Don't trust this person he acts as a potential employer offering jobs
