Received automated call after attempting to make a payment with my card which was refused. Automated voicemail left this number to call. This number is for the Fraud line call centre in Sunderland. Apparently calls from this number hang up before you can even answer the phone. No voice message left. Those who ring back that number to see who it was will find they are ringing a number charging very high rates and is nothing but a scam.

Accidentally clicked their ad when trying to find Direct Line on the net. Realised half way through completing their form so closed the browser. 10 mins later phone call received. I hadn t even pressed submit!! Anyway, number blocked, won t be bothered by these chancers again.

Caller said there was a problem with my computer. Asked him if he was same person making a similar call from a withheld number earlier today who used foul abusive language when I asked if he had heard of the telephone preference service. This time the caller rang off immediately.
