Come to think of it, it sounded more like a robo-voice than an actual human being. Probably was some computer-generated call. I just wonder what they were trying to accomplish with it?!

At first I thought they were legit saying they were Homeserve to discuss Warranties on my white goods. They knew my full name, address details, and obviously had my phone number, but when the conversation turned to my financial details.......smelt a rat! Told the caller I would phone back later, so LIAM as he called himself, gave me a Freephone Number: 0800 622 6777, Ext 291, and ask for Liam. 0800 622 6777 is the phone number of Tyneside Autoparc, Tyne And Wear, Newcastle upon Tyne, Sandy Lane, NE3 5HE.

When I said I don't have BT services, the guy said "I know, BT is the only distributer over the country!" Really? Perhaps they need to do their homework.
