I was wary at first about giving details and voiced this but service advisor said if worried not legit to call number on the back of my card and will be put through to them (not pressured into giving any security info at all). Claimed to be from Virgin Media and that I had a router problem. He wanted login details. Sounded like a foreign call centre.

Call center These people are using scare tactics to try and get people to pay for life insurance. The comment I got was 'with this new covid variant you may want to consider leaving something behind for your children....' Is this for real?
Like the above commentors my mother received a call from Robert Watson from Windows Tech support saying the # is 02036428038. This is a scam they want you to go on your computer and go to a URL which basically a remote control website. They will then have access to your harddrive and all your data. My advice is to tell them to go to hell and hang up.

claim I completed an online survey (I haven t) trying to get me to sign up for PPI or accident claims and compensation, told them I m not interested and on TPS register. Requested them to remove me from their calling list (doubt they will as they are VERY persistant)
Alleged call from HMRC with automated male voice telling me to press 1 to avoid being arrested for fraud. Absolutely sure it is some new scam attempt to get money from scared people - it sounded quite threatening!
