How would they know I have been in contact with someone with that variant? Expect it is a scam and if I clicked on the link who knows what the result might be. Called saying it was in relation to a PPI claim. Lots of chatter and laughter in the background.When I asked them to remove me from their database they asked if they could ask me a survey question which was if I was 10m away from the sun how hot would I be? I said dead and they hung up.
They call you and ask you to chose an option via an automated audio. This will likely re-route your call to a premium number that they own. It is not a legitimate caller so do not answer it.
