Has been harassing me for a week. Calls (which I ve locked but still can see received call history), text and voice message. I contacted them that I have dealt with PayPal directly as they are not trustworthy and it is not my problem if PayPal did not inform them. Today they left me a voice message calling me a b * t c h. Seriously? These monkeys didn t even get my name right.

Text message claiming to be Royal Mail telling me I had an unpaid shipping fee of £2.99. If not paid, pacel will be returned to sender. Not expecting anything to arrive, looks like they've set up a pretty legimitate looking royal mail data collection website which could be used against you.

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

This is a scam - they claim to be HMRC (although he pronounced it HRMC!) and are asking for student tax to be paid. I told them that I am 16 and not working and therefore not eligible for tax. He - an Indian sub continent accented person - insisted I have to pay it until I informed him that I actually work for HMRC and this is a scam. He admitted it was and rang off. NOTE: I don't work for HMRC and I am not 16. BEWARE!!!!

These people have called me several times in the past few days and I picked up was saying hello for a couple of minutes before they asked for me by my surname (how they got this I want to know) and then proceeded to tell me they were wanting to ask me a survey on my home insurance. when I told them I do not own a home I live with my mum (im 23 years old) and therefor do not have home insurance the guy was like oh oh ok. A Manchester number, so thought is was someone I know. However it was an unpleasant person who identified themselves as being from a company called Motor Investigations. He wanted to talk about insurance. I asked him why he was calling and he was aggressive. I hung up. Definitely a scam of some sort.

Caller claimed to be representing blockchain.com claiming I had an account with them containing about £4,000.00 (I know that I have never had anything to do with cryptocurrency). I told them I knew this was a scam. They wouldn't stop pushing, so I played along a little. They then asked me to download Teamviewer. So they were either likely going to lock me out of my computer or attempt to steal my passwords. I gave the guy a serious roasting and hung up.
