caller hung up when I answered
This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!
Apparently from Microsoft, my computer has a scary virus even though its an iMac. Losers...

SCAM automated call! This number called - I didn't answer as I didn't recognise it. My voicemail picked up part of an automated recorded message, seemed to be telling me to press 1 or my National Insurance number would be 'switched off' and I would no longer be able to use it. Possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard but sadly some people will panic and do as they're told!
Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. I contacted them on her behalf and asked

Just wow!!! I advised him I wouldn t be purchasing any extra advertising and he spoke to me like absolute crap. He said, "Did I say you had to have any extra, NO" "I will now remove all trace of your company from bing.com, Bye" and slammed the phone down. Bank alert, told me that two large transactions had gone from account. Didn't say what bank or use my name. Cancelled call and accounts are all ok so must be scam. Blocked.
