This number calls daily once they have your number, whether you are registered with TPS or not! They are sometimes silent calls , sometimes you can hear an office in the back ground. Sometimes someone wants to know if you owe money on a credit card. I don t know if itis a scam. I do know it is a pain. Apparently this is Redress Claims .

Pre-recorded message saying that my IP address has been compromised and I should press 1 to be connected to a technician. Has phoned me twice in the last two days.

Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... Had a few calls from this number starting last week. The latest wanted to review my pensions after stating "Government reports show that most pension companies are losing money" to throw a bit of F.U.D. into the call. I said all my pensions have been reviewed and I dont want any more calls.

I got a call from 01875587036, so they are using a local area number to fool you into calling them back.

Asian guy rang and half way through the conversation he started to actually abuse me using the F word. And that was because I was being slightly awkward (due to the nature of the call). Nevertheless, I m sure it doesn t give him the right to start swearing down the phone. Told him he needed to be professional and brush up on his manners and he hung up (after swearing again).
