It seems to be the start of the open pest phone calls season - I haven t answered the phone for 3 years now and have a peaceful life - except for the phone ringing. Why does the government not make this constant harassment illegal? Freedom of speech is OK to a certain extent as we have seen in recent years religious pests but surely the recipient is entitled to a quite life.

Just had a call very agressive and insulting people. They rang 3 times in the space of 4 minutes.

I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!

Called me several times, insisting I had opted in. I used their website contact form to complain and to my surprise got a reply offering to tell me where they got my details, BUT for a fee of 10.00! They also said my numbers had been removed but they ve just called my mobile... They are now blocked. TPS/OFCOM/ICO are useless so long as these people can claim you have opted in. There needs to be a mechanism for checking and revoking opt-ins. Or better still make the default on all websites opt-OUT,

Took one look at the comments and blocked the number!

Two missed calls from these on a new phone number only activated last week. Not given to anybody other than family.

Non-native English speaker asked for someone I ve never heard of, then wanted the lady of the house instead. Hung up but they rang back two hours later. Complained to TPS.

Sent to Surrey Police at 1506 11 May 2014 This is not a complaint against the Police. I am complaining about telephone number 01274 792012 whom are harassing me. They telephoned yesterday 10 June 2014. The first two times I answered, silence then rings off. The third time an Asian answered stating an English Christian Name. I confirmed my name, he then tried to quiz me about my personal data and residence, I refused to confirm anything, I told the caller that I was terminating the call and not to call me

These spam callers are sad ! If they think that they can make money out of this practice, then they are mistaken.

Called on my landline today at 7.44am. Definitely Indian call centre scam call so I hung up straight away.

Don’t waste your time with these people. Put the phone down immediately or if you are so minded, tell them to **** off . . . they’ll get the idea. NEVER GIVE ANY INFORMATION ...

Do you want to verify if a company you are dealing with is legit? Have you been losing too much money to people online? Thats because your devices are spoofed and its thesame set of people scamming you under different names, you can not understand until an expert explain it to you. Do you need any hacking service? you want to recover what you lost to scammers? you need a blank atm with minimum of $20,000 withdrawal limit and maximum of $500,000 ? you want to spy on your partners phone or social medias?

Any ideas? Seems an odd number . I don t answer numbers I don t know but this one has intrigued me.
