Claimed to be from Virgin Media about an internet connection. Worrying signs, firstly did not have my name as a contact or any reason to indicate I have an Virgin account. Also they are using a local number, for a very small area, which to my knowledge does not have a Virgin office.
This was a member of the legal team from Arnold Clark calling me about the claim I had made to court against them. I think the number is the general Head Office one though - so no need to worry.
They crash into your car doing as little damage as possible. Then their recovery company takes your car and makes it difficult to get it back. They sell your number to this call centre that will then hassle you for years about claiming for an accident. I h

Last week I bought a BT BT8500 Advanced Call Blocker phone and it works a treat. I am not connected with BT in any way but I can highly recommend this phone. It will keep a log of the calls it blocks and this number called me today but the phone blocked it and it didn t ring. Peace at last!!
