I received a call from this number today, it s seemed to be a poor connection or he made out he couldn t hear me. I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I expected they ( whoever they are) wanted me to call the bank at some unknown exaggerated cost to myself.

I have had a number of missed calls from this number and decided to check it out online, as when I call it back there is no voicemail and it just disconnects. I know realise it s another company asking me to make a claim. I have had numerous calls from these company s. And have told them all I cannot claim. Had a call from 07894865338 from someone asking for me by name and claiming to be from the Citizens Advice. I thought he was saying he had been contacted because I had reported a dead person, I asked him to repeat it, which he did. His accent was very thick and from seeing this site I think he was trying to say I had reported a debt problem !!! He hung anyway...

Robo call: "We ve been informed that you were in an accident..." etc. etc.

Answered the call and it was a civil servant helping me with my benefit payments. Perhaps others would rather not hear from the DWP(!) but if you re expecting a call as I was then it s probably best to accept it.
