I get several calls per week sometimes per day always a recorded message requesting Nasir Hussein to ring back urgently, quoting ref no. I have called 3 times notifying them that the no does not belong to a Hussein. They are very apologetic-but the calls still keep coming. I now ignore but it is highly annoying

Had a feeling this was ADT, haven t confirmed it but the comments seem to strongly indicate ADT. On top of the 0161 code. Just rang now at 3.19 in the morning, about five to six rings before I d even got to it, and then stopped. Alarm not going off, and it is for our house so would like to know why they rang in the wee hours when we re sleeping.

I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. I have replied my name is correct but I didn t met any accident and applying claims. Repeatedly called by Wills UK despite never having given permission and having told them not to call me ever again. When you call them on this number, you get a recording saying that they will call you back and press 1 to remove your number. It doesn t, and they call you over and over again.

Asking for 1.99 for a redirection of parcel... DPD have been compromised.

Received message on eBay to call this number to discuss an item I have for sale. Unable to connect when called.

Basically they re a fishing company, poorly-paid scammers doing blanket cold calling asking "have you had an accident in past 3 years" (citing they have bogus "information at hand") until, inevitably, someone says "yes". Cue then a selling job about how they can claim compo for you (for a % price). Not a scam; just a sad reflection of compensation culture and call-centre mentality. Hang up immediately; or if you want to be arsey, engage person in pointless conversation (though it isn t really his/her fault)

this Indian woman rang me and for over three minutes told me that she was ringing to prevent any nuisance calls to my number in the future. I told her she was being a nuisance.... and she kept telling me that she was from the anti nuisance call line of the UK... that was the extent of the conversation. Felt like it was a Bart Simpson style prank call.

They called and said it was a confidential matter and wanted my details so I asked for the companies name but refused to give it as this would prejudice the situation so I advise that their is no provision within the DPA 1988 which states that they are not allowed to disclosed their details prior to me disclosing mine.
